I really want to be the person who writes a newsletter every week or even every month, but I am just not her. and that is okay.
I’ve been continuing to work on my book with my editor and dear friend brenna, who is the best and helping me stop rushing for no reason and reconstruct this book into something I like better that is lovingly named:
I am currently doing the artist’s way course by julia cameron and it has been helping me get out of this never ending writer’s block. I *highly* recommend for anyone who is a creative/ open to being creative and feeling stuck. it’s pretty much just reading a chapter a week and writing morning pages every morning (which are just three pages of stream-of-consciousness writing) and taking yourself on little creativity dates. how can sitting down to write be the hardest part?
this is the front of my apartment right now and one of those moments in life where you think, no way can this life be real.
$5 collage packs have arrived to rewind and they come with a little blank lined journal that you can design the cover of with some mod podge, the collage pieces, and a paint brush. I will even ship to you via usps for $2 because I want everyone to collage their own little journal because it’s so fun :)))) re: rewind, we are having our first events this month!!!! an open mic on thurs 11/2 before the john mulaney show at upac and leo lovechild and addy idol on 11/18 in the store for our first songwriter sessions.

can’t stop thinking + listening to the 1989 taylor’s version bonus tracks especially now that we don’t talk and the lyric “being this young is art.” taylor is always on time.
